Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink! This reminds one of grim picture of inadequate water availability vis a vis the huge demand for survival of mankind. And, we have now become serious thinking on why we should conserve water before it is too late. By water, we mean potable water suitable for human life.How scarcity arises:Healthy life starts from good water. Population grows exponentially worldwide, bringing with it heavy demand for water.Agriculture, the main supplier of food is wholly water-dependent which we have no way to compromise with. Further, it has to be encouraged maximum.But available water and its sources are limited.Rainfall, the primary source is erratic and scanty in many places. Thus it becomes precious and slowly scarce. And, it is time that we realize why we should be frugal in using water and embark on measures to conserve and augment it for the benefit of the present and future.Measures to be taken:Afforestation should be taken up on war-footing. Present pace in this is inadequate.Any deforestation move is to be totally banned.This is fundamental to facilitate more rains. Wastage of water into sea should be arrested. Dams, new lakes, tanks and more canals should be constructed to store water for use during needy times.The available ones also are to be desilted periodically to facilitate storing excess water.

Life becomes true and meaningful only when a man keeps some targets before him to achieve in life. Towards its fruition, he has to strive. We have the saying, “God helps those who help themselves”. It turns out that if you make sincere efforts towards achieving them, you will be rewarded.What should be your goals:This may vary from person to person. If aim for good job, level of education also should be high.Preparing for job:Concentrate on studies without any distraction. General knowledge is essential. Preparation for interviews through special coaching will be helpful You should develop personality, sociability and and friendship.This raises your image in life, leave alone other factors. Preparing for business/self-employment:Learn the techniques of business from elders/peers. Be a good worker before becoming a good master.Large investments initially may be avoided. Develop public relation strategies. This enables advancement in business.Preparing for politics: The art of speaking is to be developed.Learn economics, political science, mass psychology and intricacies of administration.First start as a worker and, then you will be elevated to leadership based on your work.Readiness for sacrifice is also what you should develop to reach higher levels sooner.

Population is a major factor in a developing country. Increasing population is a good improvement for countries which are located near polar region. Some of the countries like Canada, Iceland and so on are trying to improve the population of their countries by various methods. But there are many countries which couldn’t control population.The best example for the countries who find to control population are China, India and so on. China being the first in population is finding it difficult to control it, however it has taken several methods to make it’s citizen realise the seriousness of this. Also, UN which is known as United Nations is funding all the countries which are trying to control and stop the increase in population in their respective countries. Some of the countries in Europe are also trying to make sure that the population should be in control.
India being the 2nd most populated country in the world, has now more immigrants from neighbouring countries like Srilanka which increases the population. Also, indian government has taken several precationary measures to create awareness about the increasing population from the metropolitan city to the urban village. People in remote areas are also educated about the population control which would definitely result in eradication of the Indian population.
